Rudraksha beads are known to one and all and commonly seen in houses, temples, and with many spiritual men. The Rudrakshas are considered to be sacred and have many spiritual and medicinal values both as preventive and curative.

In olden days the Rudraksha were worn mainly by Sadhus, Sanyasis, Yogis, etc., Now-a-days especially since last 40 years the wearing and usage of Rudraksha has become more popular from Prime Minister to the common man. It is note-worthy there is rapid growth in the usage and wearing of Rudraksha by more and more people in this computer age in India and in various other parts of the world. It is mainly due to the positive results gained by Rudraksha’s wearing and internal usage for perfect health and happiness.

Ayurveda is the only medical system in the world, which prescribed health principle’s, as preventive methods and herbal combinations prescriptions for treatment. Those most effective formulae were kept in secret and practiced. Like Ayurvedic system, Saints and Sanyasis treated the various types of diseases by Rudraksha’s, and this Rudraksha treatment was tradition in Saint cult and was kept as utmost secret in Maths & Ashrams in all over the world.

Since many decades Allopathic system with synthetic drugs and chemicals dominated medical field and human health care. Now we have realized that the more indiscriminately we use the Allopathic drugs the worst the disturbance of the vital forse and the human body’s natural mechanism and the resistance power of the human body is gradually reduced. 

At this stage nearly 30 years ago a search was started for the safe and best alternative methods of healing. The Chairman of the Indian Medicine Academy, Dr. K Sathyanarayana Swamy, under the guidance and Patronage of  the Hon’ble justice Sri Immaneni Pandu Ranga Rao, Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court started research work on Rudraksha and its medical and spiritual efficacies by extensively touring all over India & Nepal.
